Q. What time does Scott put the picks up?

A. The picks are posted every day by 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, and by 11:00 a.m. Saturdays & Sundays for the mid-day & afternoon action AT THE LATEST. Later games may be posted at a later point on the weekends but will be up at least an hour and a half before their start times. You should check back over the weekends to the site throughout the day to see if any picks have been added.

Just because we say the picks are posted by 6:00 p.m. does not mean that they are often not posted earlier during the day. Scott maintains a tremendously busy schedule, but he is having so much fun doing this stuff with you guys that he’s often able to make picks earlier during the day. If we’ve got them and the ability to put them up earlier, we will so you can grab the better lines.

Q. If I buy a monthly membership do I get access to all of Scott’s picks, including premium events such as boxing matches, MMA fights, March Madness, special members’-only contests, Super Bowls, NBA championships and other major sporting events?

A. Yes. Here’s the deal, Scott is having so much fun with this web site that he is willing to give out all of his picks to people who are in for the long haul just like he is. He’s feeling the energy and the connection and wants to build on it with the members and start offering more and more special events and fun with the guys who are on this site regularly. Scott plans to shake it up by getting something on this site for at least everybody’s particular fancy when it comes to being a degenerate and hanging out with sports and sports stars.

Q. Do you keep track of the results of Scott’s bets?

A. Yes. We maintain this information in a spreadsheet, which is updated daily. The spreadsheet is periodically posted on the web site and can be viewed by members. If you are a non-member and are thinking of joining and would like the spreadsheet, you can email customer support and it will be provided to you.

Q. I’m having problems with my credit card, what’s up with that?

A. Many of the problems that you are experiencing with regard to credit cards on this web site have to do with bank fraud settings. Because of the nature of this particular web site banks are sometimes hesitant that credit cards and credit card numbers are stolen to be used over the Internet. Add to that mix the recent campaign that has raged by the Federal government against sports gambling off-shore, and the laws that have been passed to restrict money movement by banks, and they are, somewhat, concerned about the nature of this site. We can understand that, and it is a problem, but it’s legitimate on their side until we prove that we’re here for the long haul. The relationships will get better as we get more and more loyal members who keep returning on a monthly basis to join in in the fun.

Q. Where do I go to bet?

A. Clearly Vegas is a great fit, cause you know you’re always going to have a raging time when you’re out there. In terms of recommendations, we are not at a point where we can recommend any specific on-line sport books. However, you can always go to Google and do an on-line search yourself. We will tell you that some of the islands that host on-line casinos and sport books do have gaming authorities and will approve of the merits of the particular sports book. This does offer some level of assurance as to quality and safety of funds, at least in our opinion (although this does not act as an endorsement of those government authorities and their endorsements of the sport books). You should note that not all sports books will accept funds from Americans who wish to open accounts because of fear of Federal prosecution.

Q. How should I bet and how much should I bet?

A. These are all very personal questions that depend largely upon your factor for risk, your ability to handle the risk, and your ability to afford to bet, that is if you want to. Please keep in mind that this is an entertainment site, and the information that is provided is for people’s entertainment only. Scott isn’t necessarily recommending that you bet any of these games, none of them. He’s merely expressing his opinion as to which games he thinks will win.

If you do feel that you want to place a bet, you should always consider your own opinion before laying the bet. For example, if Scott has placed a bet much earlier in the day and the line has significantly changed from when you go to place the bet, you need to consider, again, whether you feel comfortable placing the bet, given that it does not match Scott’s recommendation.

You also need to realize that Scott likes to pick a lot of games. From the large list of games that Scott usually goes through, we are often able to identify Scott’s top picks of the day. When we do this we put them in bold. Some days all of the games, because of a light schedule, will be Scott’s picks. But, because a lot of people like to see all of Scott’s picks, just to know what he’s thinking, when he picks from a large list and gets down to a smaller group of favorites, we will usually post all of those bets. If people want to place bets based upon what Scott picks, then we suggest that they utilize their best judgment and consider Scott’s opinions, which are offered only as opinions, and act according to their risk profile and bankroll.

Q. On the front page of the site when you start referring to money won, how are you calculating that?

A. The concept that is being used is that the average bettor will make a bet to win $100.00 per bet. Using this theory for each loss on a point spread we calculate the loss at being $110.00. If the loss happens on the money line, we will calculate it out on the appropriate dollar that would have been lost to win the $100.00. Obviously if you are betting less than $100.00 you should just apply the proper percentage reduction of the average bet to come out with the calculations that would be relevant to your particular analysis.
